Reward Terms & Conditions per the Blastoff Network

Only US and Canadian citizens who are 18 years old or older are eligible to receive cash-back rewards.

Typically, all cash-back rewards appear under the MY REWARDS tab of the member’s “My Rewards” page within 10 business days of their affiliated transactions. If they do not appear within that timeframe, you can email us by clicking the CONTACT US button in the navigation bar at the top of your homepage. Members cannot fund online purchases with their rewards account, nor can they choose when or how much to withdraw.

Once a transaction appears in the member’s account, we flag it with a “Pending” status until the merchant clears it, which can take up to 90 days (or longer for travel-related purchases). Once the transaction clears, its status will change to “Approved” and then to “Paid” when we mail out your reward check. To receive your reward checks, you must have a valid US or Canadian mailing address and have accumulated at least $20 in your Blastoff account. Note: All reward checks expire after 90 days of their issuance.

Once your account reaches at least $20 in approved funds, you should receive a reward check for the accumulated total by the 15th of the following month. Note: Reward check mailing dates are at the mercy of both merchant approval timetables, as well as the nuances of the postal system, and may not always arrive on the same day from month to month.

Product returns or service refusals may result in the forfeit of a cash-back reward. If said reward has already been paid to the member, the amount will be debited from the member’s account. The member will not have to refund Blastoff any money.

Though there is no limit to the amount a member can earn, federal law requires any entity that pays out $600 or more to an individual in one calendar year to report the amount as miscellaneous income.

When your account accrues a total of $600 or more for the first time, and this amount has been cleared for payment, you will receive notification that Blastoff requires your social security or tax ID number so that we can continue to mail you your reward checks. We will also send you a link to a free and secure third-party site where you can fill out Form W-9. You will need to fill out this form every year you earn $600 or more, or if your personal information or tax withholding status changes. You will also receive Form 1099 in the mail, which indicates your income for the previous tax year and the fact that it has been reported to the IRS.

Note: If you resign your account, you will lose any cash-back rewards that have yet to be cleared or approved by their respective merchants.

Shopping Terms & Conditions per the Blastoff Network

Typically, the percentage you see beneath a merchant icon is the cash-back reward for that merchant. However, we express all rewards as a range because some merchants use shopping criteria that necessitates different reward values. For example, the purchase of a specific item or a transaction total may affect your reward. Your discount could actually be higher than the listed range.

Cash-back rewards are not subtracted from their respective transactions at the time of check-out. Blastoff pays cash-back rewards in the form of a check that we mail out to our members. Only US and Canadian citizens 18 years old or older are eligible for cash-back rewards.

Generally, cash-back rewards do not apply to taxes and shipping/handling charges. Also, returns of a product or refusal of a service generally result in the forfeit of an associated cash-back reward. Note: Third-party merchants are responsible for the application of cash-back rewards.

There will be no indication on the merchant’s storefront that you accessed it from Blastoff, nor will a Blastoff-specific discount or coupon code appear in the merchant’s check-out process, since cash-back rewards are not immediately applied to your transactions. Rest assured, even though you may not see any difference, you will receive credit for your transaction with a third-party merchant if you access them through your personal Blastoff Shopping Portal.

We recommend you always sign in to your Blastoff account before shopping. However, so long as you access merchant sites from your Blastoff Shopping Portal (on your Blastoff homepage), you will receive cash-back reward credit for your transactions. Always check the Blastoff Network web address in your browser to ensure that you are on your Blastoff homepage; your Blastoff site name should appear in the web address. Also, your internet browser must be set to allow cookies; for most browsers, this is the default state. Please consult your browser’s help to learn more about cookies.

Note: If you do not access a third-party merchant from your Blastoff Shopping Portal, you will not be eligible for the cash-back reward for that transaction.

All Shopping portal transactions are private, commercial transactions between you–the purchaser (member)–and a third-party merchant and take place on the merchant’s online storefront. Blastoff does not handle any claims arising from upgrade, repair, or return issues. Please make sure you fully understand a merchant’s terms and conditions and ensure that all applicable merchant specials have been applied to your shopping cart before your complete the check-out process. Specific items or services from certain merchants may come with different cash-back rewards.
